Visual novels are more about the story than gameplay design, so there isn’t skill-based content. Like Florence and other visual novels, there isn’t much gameplay. Parts of it remind me of Florence with the emotional storytelling aspects and simple yet relatable art design. The art has hand-drawn backgrounds, giving it a charming, down-to-earth vibe. It is a visual novel about passing time in an afterlife. Purrgatory is truly a hidden gem within the vast library of the Steam store.
